Mutton Liver has amazing nutrients that absorbed in our body. Liver is high in iron, vitamin A , vitamin B and copper. Liver also high in iron which is also important in brain function, muscle strength and in hemoglobin formation which makes it crucial for energy production. Liver has a distinctive and strong taste you can eat liver without much fuss by preparing them easily with only few ingredients that available at home.

Liver is high in vitamin A, folic acid, iron, and zinc. Liver is the most nutrient dense organ meat, and it is a powerful source of vitamin A.

I have shared an easy and quick pepper Liver fry recipe in step by step method with a detailed pictures below.

In a pressure cooker heat oil add whole red chilies, curry leaves when it begin to splutter add onions saute till the onions changes transparent.

Add ginger garlic paste saute till the raw aroma of ginger garlic goes away.

Add pepper powder, cumin powder and salt . Stir well.

Add liver pieces saute for 2 minutes till the color of the liver changes. Add little water pressure cook for 4-5 whistle.

As pressure released open the lid check the consistency , reduced the excess liquid by keeping on a medium heat stir constantly till the liver is combine with all the spices  and turns semi dry.

Sprinkle with coriander leaves and serve hot with steam rice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 grams liver
  • 1 small onions
  • 2 strands curry leaves
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 whole red chili
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • Salt as needed
