Paneer Stuffed Paratha Recipe

Paneer paratha or cottage cheese paratha are made with stuffed paneer, carrots and peas mix with the Indian spices stuffed in a paratha or flat bread best served with homemade yogurt and butter.

I have shared paneer Stuffed Paratha Recipe in step by step method with a detailed picture below.

In a mixing bowl add all purpose flour, salt ,oil and water. Mix well.

Begin to Knead a dough add more water to make a smooth and firm dough. Let it rest for atleast 15 minutes.

Meanwhile heat oil add chopped onions saute till the onions changes transparent add ginger garlic paste saute until the raw aroma goes away.

Add red chili powder, cumin powder, chat powder, salt, turmeric powder and garam masala powder stir well.

Now add grated carrot, boiled peas to the onion mixture.

Add grated cottage cheese mix well. Remove from the heat.

Take a small portion of the dough, roll the dough balls to a circle fold both the sides and place the paneer stuffs in the centre.

Cover the stuffings from all the sides.

Brush the edges with water, Seal the edges.

Place the paneer stuffed paratha in a hot tawa. Flip when one sides is partly cooked apply ghee or oil with a spoon turn over and flip till the paratha are evenly cooked with the golden spots.

Paneer stuffed paratha is best served with plain yogurt. And butter on top.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup grated carrot
  • 1 cup boiled peas
  • 1 medium size onion
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon chat masala powder
  • Salt as needed
  • 1 tablespoon oil

For the dough

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • Salt as needed
  • Water as required

INSTRUCTIONS
