How to make hash brown omelette in year 2022

Satisfy the hearty appetite with this one skillet meal of hash brown with a combined flavors of all your breakfast favorites into one perfect omelette. Hash brown are a popular American breakfast. I have made a variation by adding a thin layer of eggs, onion and tomatoes. You can also add cheese for a creamy and cheesy flavor inside.

Wash and peel the potatoes, grate the potatoes, soak them in a water for a minute, rinse and squeeze the grated potatoes to drain the excess water and then place them in a bowl add salt, oregano, cornflour, red chili flakes and pepper powder.

In a pan heat oil or butter add the hash brown spread evenly cover and cook for 5 minutes on a medium flame.

Use a wide spatula to carefully flip potatoes over so that the brown side is up( or slide onto a plate and flip over back into skillet). Cook 3 minutes or until the bottom layer begins to brown.

Then, take a mixing bowl, add chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, green chilies, salt and eggs. Combine all the ingredients mix well.

Pour the egg mixture reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook the egg mixture until it’s done.

Transfer to a serving plate.

A perfect hash brown Omelette is ready to serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 medium potatoes, peeled, grated
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1 chopped tomatoes
  • 1 green chili
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon pepper powder
  • Salt as needed
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter or oil

INSTRUCTIONS
