Ginger tea has a reputation of revitalizing because of its spice content in tea . Ginger tea is very common Indian beverage made from tea leaves and fresh ginger. It is also known as Adrak version of ginger tea .
I have shared step by step method below
Crush or powder cardamom and ginger in a morter pestle . In a saucepan add 1 cup of water , add cardamom and ginger . Boil for 5-6 minutes till the color of water change
Add 3 tablespoon of tea leaves , cook on medium heat till water gets a deep red
Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes . Now add sugar
Add milk
Let the Tea boil on a medium flame , for 5-7 minutes stir with a spoon
Then simmer for a minute or two . Simmering makes the tea strong . If you prefer a light tea then skip this step .
Strain the tea through strainer
Serve the hot ginger tea or chai with your favorite snacks like Pakora or Bajji . Serve ginger tea with biscuit.
