Easy Bread halwa Recipe

Bread halwa is an easy and quick recipe prepared with fried bread, milk and khoya. Addition of khoya gives richness to the halwa.

I have shared bread halwa recipe in step by step method with a detailed pictures below.

In a mixing bowl add warm milk, crumbled khoya mix well. keep aside

In a kadai heat oil gently drop the bread fry them till light golden brown.

Place the fried bread to the khoya milk let it rest for 2 minutes or until the breads turns soft.

Gently take the bread out of the milk transfer to another bowl.

Repeat the same process for other breads.

In a sauce pan heat ghee add cardamom

Now add the bread and khoya milk stir and mix everything well.

Simmer to the low to medium heat stir at intervals.

Now add sugar keep stirring until the sugar dissolves and the mixture comes together

In another pan heat ghee add chopped almonds stir fry till it turns light golden brown

Serve hot or warm
