Mooli sabzi is an easy recipe served as a side dish for lunch , the pungent earthy flavor of the turnip ,the aroma of ginger and garlic make the dish healthy and comforting lunch
I have shared step by step method below
Ina pressure cooker heat oil ,Saute onions till the color changes transparent . Add ginger garlic paste saute till the raw aroma goes away
Add chopped tomatoes saute till the tomatoes changes soft in texture . Add red chili powder , cumin powder and salt
Add thick yogurt saute for 2 minutes
Add turnip , pour half cup water pressure cook for 1-2 whistle
As pressure drops adjust the consistency . If the curry is runny , heat on a medium flame till the excess liquid absorbs
Serve turnip sabzi as a side dish for rice . Garnish with coriander leaves

- 1 onions
- 1 large tomato
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tbsp oil
- Salt as needed
- 2-3 turnip
- 1 tbsp thick yogurt
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
