In a mixing bowl or plate add ginger garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, pepper powder, dry kasuri methi leaves, roasted garam flour and lemon

Clean the fish by trimming the tails, fins and scale of a fish. Once the fish is clean rinse with water make gashes to the pomfret fish keep aside. Mix together all the above ingredients add oil mix well.

Adjust the gram flour to make a nice and thick paste, apply the marinade to the fish evenly. Marinate for atleast 15 minutes.

In a non stick pan add oil shallow fry the fish.

Flip on the other side shallow fry on both the sides.

Garnish with cucumber and lemon best serve with rice and dhal

 

INGREDIENTS :

  • 2 Pomfret fish
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon dry fenugreek leaves/ dry kasuri methi leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 2-3 tablespoon oil for shallow fry
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder

INSTRUCTIONS :
