Mutton pakora is a quick and easy recipe. We enjoyed in adorable rainy season. Mutton pakora are crunchy and delicious recipe even kids love it!

I have shared an easy and quick recipe of pakora below with a detailed pictures.

In a pressure cooker add red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder, cumin powder.

Add mutton pieces and water .Cover the lid and cook until the mutton gets tender.

In a mixing bowl add gram flour, salt, red chilli powder, rice flour, cumin powder, ginger garlic paste and baking soda and pepper powder.

Pour little water to make a thick batter. Dip the mutton in a batter and deep fry them until it’s golden brown.

Place them in an absorbent paper. Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 kg boneless mutton pieces
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • Salt as needed

For a batter

  • 1 cup gram flour
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • Salt as needed
  • Oil for deep frying

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Wash and clean the mutton pieces.
  • In a pressure cooker add ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, cumin powder, salt and turmeric powder add mutton pieces pour little water cover the lid, pressure cook for 4_5 whistles until the mutton gets tender.
  • In a mixing bowl add gram flour, rice flour,salt , baking soda, red chilli powder, pepper powder pour little water to make a thick batter.
  • Dip the mutton pieces to the batter , deep fry them until it turns crisp.
  • Place them in an absorbent paper. Serve hot.
