Homemade Apple Juice Recipe

“An Apple a day keeps the doctor away”.  Apple is rich in vitamins, calcium, potassium, and magnesium. The fruit and juice has many health benefits.  Eating apples and drinking its juice not only enhances healthy body and mind but also helps strengthen the muscles.  Apple juice helps boost energy. Apple juice is one of the tastiest and most favorite among kids.

I have shared an easy apple juice recipe in a step by step method with a detailed pictures below.

Start by washing and then coring the apple to remove seeds. Cut the apple into small pieces. Place them in a hand blender or food processor.

Add enough water to it start blending.

Add sugar and a pinch of salt , blend again.

Slowly pour the juice to the mesh strainer. The juice will be filtered through the bottom in your glass while the apple mush will be left behind. Place the mush in a separate bowl add little water and repeat the process until all of your juice is in your glass.

Taste the juice.  You can add extra sugar depending on your preferences.  Add ice cubes and serve chilled.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 apple
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • a pinch of salt
  • 3-4 ice cubes
  • 1/2 glass chilled water
