Chicken Frankie is one of the best Street food very Popular in India also known as Indian Fast food, Chicken Frankie rolls are Little Spicy and tangier, Its been Prepared at your convenience can be made with Boneless Chicken/ Mince .

I have shared a chicken Frankie recipe in a step by step method with a detailed picture below.

In a mixing bowl add ginger garlic paste, salt,red chili powder, cumin powder and corn flour, pepper powder and orange red color and egg whites.

Add chicken pieces mix well. Marinate the chicken for at least 20 minutes.

Heat oil in a kadai add the chicken pieces fry them till the chicken turns golden brown. Allow it to cool shred the chicken pieces.

In a dep bottom pan add wheat flour and all purpose flour ,salt pour required water to knead the dough. Let it rest for 15 minutes.

Divide the dough into small portions roll as thin as possible . Heat the tawa flip the roti and cook on both the sides.

Place the roti , now add shredded chicken , garlic sauce , sliced onions.

Roll the frankie tightly.

To serve hot frankie place the frankie in a hot tawa, flip the frankie on both the sides..

Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg boneless chicken
  • 1 tbsp. ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • salt as needed
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp chicken masala powder
  • a pinch orange red food color
  • 1 tbsp.  lemon juice
  • oil for deep frying
  • 1/2 cup homemade garlic sauce

FOR DOUGH

  • 2 cup wheat flour
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • salt as needed
  • water
